International Charity Day

The United Nations officially declared 5th September as the International Day of Charity. The day commemorates the passing away of a pure soul Mother Teresa who made it her life’s purpose to help the people in distress and eradicate poverty from the world. She committed her life to this cause at the age of 12.

Teaching Sustainability

Children are smarter than we think. Similarly, they are sharper than we deem them to be. To teach the future generation what is good and what is bad, we must incorporate practical experience in their lives. By doing a particular task or activity, children tend to retain and understand more than just telling them about it.

Men and their ‘motes’

Global fashion and its acceptance have changed over a few decades. And that’s why men and their men totes ‘motes’ are not a new thing. With a little jog down the memory lane, you’ll remember Joey (FRIENDS) and his newfound love and appreciation for ‘man purse’.

World Tourism Day

World Tourism Day is celebrated every year on the 27th of September. This day marks and celebrates accessible tourism, put in effect by the World Tourism Organisation( WTO).
This day aims to spread awareness about the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, and economic dimensions.

Happy customer diaries

Recently when Green Canvas was taking baby steps, we received a bulk order from Mrs. Geeta Subramaniam from New Jersey, U.S.A for her son’s wedding. Producing such a huge number of bags in the initial days with limited human capital and constrained supply of material was far from a cakewalk.

The future of Bags

Life with plastic is not fantastic, and we all know that very well. With plastic shopping bags getting banned worldwide, the good old canvas shopping bags are coming back bigger, better, and bolder.
Reusable shopping bags are all the rage today and quickly replacing plastic shopping bags in many homes and stores.
